Calcined alumina is produced by calcining industrial aluminum hydroxide in rotary kilns at high temperature to form α-alumina powder. It features high chemical purity, low impurity, compact crystal grain, high hardness, insulation, high temperature resistance, wear and corrosion resistance as well as good thermal conductivity. With controllable particle size distribution and excellent fluidity, various grades are available based on calcination temperature and crystal size for ceramics, refractory, electronics, polishing and filling industries.
