Product Description

White Fused Alumina is produced from high-purity industrial grade alumina, which is melted at high temperatures in an electric arc furnace, crystallized and cooled, and then processed through multiple steps including crushing, shaping, magnetic separation to remove iron, and grading by screening. It has high hardness, high purity, chemical stability, high melting point, and good corrosion resistance.

Application

White Fused Alumina is widely used in the iron and steel industry and foundry industry, castables, lightweight thermal insulation refractories, high-alumina refractory mixes and blast furnace lining fabrication. It is also applied in abrasive fields, such as grinding and cutting wheels, coated abrasives, investment casting shells, coatings and polishing.
