Product Description
Fused Zirconia Mullite is produced by melting high-purity industrial alumina, high-purity zircon sand, and high-quality silica in electric arc furnace at temperatures over2000℃, followed by controlled cooling and crystallization. Its mineral composition consists of a eutectic structure of baddeleyite (ZrO₂) and mullite (3Al₂O₃·2SiO₂), with ZrO₂ content typically ranging from 33% to 40%. The material features well-developed coarse crystals, a dense structure, and a uniform glass phase distribution. It offers high refractoriness (melting point approx. 1850℃), low thermal expansion coefficient, excellent thermal shock resistance, and strong resistance to slag and molten glass corrosion, demonstrating exceptional chemical stability particularly against alkaline media and molten glass.
