Product Description

Fused magnesia is produced by melting high-grade magnesite or high purity lightly burned magnesia in an electric arc furnace at ultra-high temperature, followed by controlled cooling and crystallization. It features high purity, large crystal size, dense structure, high melting point, excellent high-temperature strength, outstanding resistance to alkaline slag corrosion and good thermal shock resistance, making it an essential raw material for high-grade magnesia, magnesia-chrome and magnesia-spinel refractories.
